DailyBot is a chat assistant and toolkit for asynchronous work. It makes it easy for teams to collaborate and get work done faster within Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and other apps - providing features that don’t exist in these chat apps.

Teams are transitioning to a hybrid workplace, they’re working remotely, and are facing new challenges to get work done faster: too many meetings and distractions, many tools and apps to use, and are also finding a harder time to create team bonds.

DailyBot solves it with smart team check-ins, daily stand-ups, chat-driven operations and integrations, and key features for team building like kudos, virtual water cooler or random 1:1 coffees between colleagues.

As part of continuing building our vision, we’re thrilled to announce that DailyBot is joining the Y Combinator family. YC is the world’s best startup accelerator that has supported companies like Dropbox, Stripe, Airbnb, Instacart and many more.

Joining YC is not easy and not for everyone — we’ll share more about our experience in a future post. Interesting fact is that we visited SF the year before for another interview, but it’s 2021 the year for us to join, a fully remote batch.

Participating in this batch remotely has been a great experience for us, we didn’t end up spending time on relocation and our operation was already remote, so it’s been natural, focused and very productive.

Being part of YC is helping us improve the way we build our company, with an even stronger focus on our customer needs and moving fast to improve our product and evolve our company.

Thousands of companies are using DailyBot on a daily basis, and now many YC companies are switching to DailyBot for their product management stand-ups, retrospectives and to improve their team workflows.

We’ll continue working hard on making a great product that our users love, thank you all for the support and your constant feedback.

Stay tuned for what’s coming next!
