We've got some exciting news for all you! You told us you wanted to add some extra shine to your reports, and we listened. That's right, you can now upload images to your DailyBot check-ins via chat or web! 🤩

This means you can:

  • Showcase your wins visually: Did you crush a design project? Snap a screenshot to show it off!
  • Demonstrate a new process: Walk your team through a tricky change or statement with a helpful image.
  • Simply add a little fun: Let's face it, who doesn't love a good meme to brighten the day? ;)

1. How to add pizzazz (and pixels) to your reports 😄

Using the web app:

  1. Use the "Attach image" option below the fields of each question.
  2. Choose your image from your device.
  3. (Optional) Feeling fancy? Rename your image using the pencil icon.

Using the chatbot:

Just attach the images you want to include right along with your response. Easy peasy!

2. Slack users need to give an extra permission to use it 👀

For a smoother experience in Slack, you can type "popup on" to activate reports in a pop-up form. Then, you can attach files directly in each response box.

But hey! — this feature requires a high five from your Slack admin to enable image uploads securely. They can grant us permission by reauthenticating the bot with Slack using this link or any “Sign Up” button for that matter.

Before you get snapping 📸

  • File format: Keep it simple, we love JPGs, PNGs, and JPEGs.
  • File size: Don't go overboard; 5MB is the sweet spot.
  • Image count: Up to 5 images per response.
  • Plans with perks: This feature is for our paid plans only.

We're so excited to see how you use images to make your DailyBot check-ins even more informative and engaging. So grab your phone (or camera!), fire up DailyBot, and get ready to showcase your amazing work. 😎
