Goal

You want to have weekly feedback from your managers or executive team in order to make sure that everyone is in the same page and the company is heading the right direction. This practice helps you identify whether there are big news or considerations to be analyzed by the team. It also helps identify whether a further discussion (meeting or call) should be coordinated in order to discuss key points.

Questions

  1. Are there any big updates to share to our team?
  2. Is our company in the right direction? If not, please express your point of view.
  3. Based on your work scope, what’s the most relevant work to be accomplished?
  4. Is there any topic for discussion? If so, please tell me about it.

Recommended frequency for this follow-up

Consider having this follow-up in a weekly or bi-weekly basis, in example, this could be the first reflexive action and update to share early on Mondays, every manager or executive shares it.

Depending on your organization and size of your managing team, you could also find interesting to set up this follow-up in a monthly basis.
